Cracked Heels
Cracked heels occur due to an excessive build up of hard skin around the heel, together with excessive pressure from tissue spread as we weight bear.
It is often due to excessively dry skin, but cracks can also occur due to excessively moist skin. The cracks can often become open, referred to as a fissure, become very painful. and can bleed Open heeled foot-wear in the summer is a major contributor to this problem. Treatment
