I attended Crumlin Podiatry today, and had my feet treated by Lynsey who was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I walked in I was treated with the utmost friendliness and warmth, from the wonderful receptionist Ann, then Lynsey, and finally by Owen. Their service was very professional, and very reasonably priced. I left feeling like I was walking on air. I would highly recommend Crumlin Podiatry for all your podiatry needs. I will definitely be a regular attendee!

Massive thanks to Lynsey McDowell for her help in diagnosis of melanoma on my foot. Thanks to Anne at reception who went to considerable lengths to send pictures of the lesion to my GP. Their efforts were instrumental in commencing the pathway to surgery and ongoing treatment.

I had multiple veruccas on my feet around my fingers and even on my knee. I tried multiple at home remedies, over the counter medication, scraping freezing and nothing seemed to work. Until I was recommended Owen and the swift treatment.
The first time I met Owen there had been absolutely no progress with my veruccas in over 3 years. Owen was very helpful and explained the process from start to finish. The procedure can be slightly painful but as soon as the 'pen' is lifted off the pain dissapears! I would recommend going with the anaesthetic as then the machine can go to a higher setting, although more expensive definitely worth it in the long run!
Even from the first treatment I noticed a huge change in my feet and even the way i walked.
By the second treatment they were almost gone!
Massive thank you to Owen and his team, as without them I dont think I would've ever got rid of them. Highly Highly recommend Owen

I attended Crumlin Podiatry at the recommendation of my aunt as I had suffered a severe ankle injury in 2015 and it had never properly healed. I had attended multiple physios and nothing eased the pain, swelling and discomfort.
I attended a preliminary meeting with Owen and after one session felt more relief than in any of my sessions with physio. I have since completed all my sessions in Crumlin Podiatry and am very satisfied with the results.
I feel that Owen and the team have gave me back the use of my ankle, I am walking steadier, I am no longer in pain and the swelling is down to a minimum no matter how much I punish the ankle.
I would like to say a massive Thank You to the entire team at Crumlin Podiatry for their hard work, enthusiasm and being able to fit me in, even with my awkward schedule.
I would wholeheartedly recommend taking that first step and making an appointment. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a verruca for more than three years. Despite multiple different ‘over the counter’ treatments from the pharmacy, it showed no signs of moving.
I was advised by a good friend to contact Owen McAllister of Crumlin Podiatry who specialises in laser treatment.
That was good advice - after two treatments, six weeks apart, my verruca has completely disappeared without trace.

I cannot recommend the Swift treatment for verrucas enough! Owen is absolutely amazing too, he completely put my son's mind at ease before starting and throughout the treatment. Following numerous silver nitrate and other treatments at different podiatrists a friend recommended the Swift treatment after using it for her daughter. I was a bit unsure as it was expensive but I have to say it was 100% worth it, .my only regret is not doing it sooner! It took a few treatments for my son as his verrucas were so flipping stubborn but was definitely worth persevering with. Can be a bit nippy but Owen explains all of this before hand. Great rapport with kids A* .

My daughter (15yrs old) had a few large verrucas on both feet, after trying traditional methods at home and at another podiatrist clinic all with no success, I was recommended SWIFT treatment with Owen I have been really pleased with my daughters treatment, after 1 treatment which Owen was truthful about the level of pain (worth tolerating for as long as possible) to administer the procedure. We have just returned from what would have been my daughters second treatment second but Owen advised it wasn’t required, as the first treatment was successful. We are both very happy with the results and would definitely recommend.

After 9 years of trying over the counter treatments and going every 2 weeks for cryotherapy I decided to try the Swift treatment. Owen was fantastic, made me feel very relaxed and after a couple of sessions I was verruca free. I attended 3/4 sessions with Owen to have verrucas removed from my foot. I had had them for well over 20 years and had treated them with a variety of over the counter treatments and old wife’s tales but but without success. After two sessions, with a certain degree of short term pain during the appointment, they were successfully dispatched. I was able to walk in and out of the sessions easily and there were no after-affects. I would highly recommend this treatment and it was carried out in a very professional and friendly manner. I’ve been attending Crumlin Podiatry for the past year receiving the swift treatment and I could not recommend it more.
I was a bit sceptical at the start as for years I had wasted time and money on over the counter treatments with no result, but Owen kept his word and I’m now verruca free!
The treatment itself was over a longer period of time as my verrucas were stubborn as I’d had them years so I’d definitely say start it sooner rather than later!
As for pain during the treatment, it was uncomfortable but manageable, there’s an option for unaesthetic if you feel you need it but regardless it was definitely worth it.

I have been attending Owen for a number of years and he has worked very hard to keep my feet healthy and work with my constant problem of ingrown toenails. Despite for the last few years try to get me to have surgery to stop this happening I finally agreed to the surgery two weeks ago. The injections to numb the toes were, as he said, painful but I didn’t feel the surgery. Had a review appointment today and the toes are healing well. I have had no pain since the surgery and hopefully will be fully recovered in the next couple of weeks. Good time of year to have the surgery as I can wear open toe sandals. Would thoroughly recommend Owen and his colleagues, a brilliant team.

Having been an avid swimmer and gym goer for most of my life I've suffered with verrucas on and off since I was younger. These often cleared but I have been suffering for the past 4/5 years with them only getting worse.
Having spent a fortune on over the counter treatments and acid treatment at another podiatrist I was having no luck and they were only getting worse. I was also so embarrassed about them and self conscious which also put me off seeking alternative treatment.
I received 4 SWIFT treatments - 3 done under local anaesthetic and they've completely cleared! I will say there is a slight stingy from the treatment but the local anaesthetic was the solution to that! No side affects at all to the treatment or any after pains! I was hesitant at the cost to begin with but I've probably spent more on over the counter treatments combined. Would recommend to anyone and Owen is so reassuring - there was no need at all for me to have felt embarrassed. Don't wait as long as I did - would highly recommend!

I have attended Owen for a few years for treatment for a Neurovascular corn. I have been having regular treatment for this corn for 27 years. The pain was constant and it had a big impact on my life. I was constantly walking on the side of my foot and regularly went over on my ankle as a result. I have been restricted to wearing trainers to try to ease pain when walking and all my shoes are worn down on one side! Owen recommend the swift treatment, which I had one treatment of. I can’t recommend it enough. It has been life changing. To be able to walk without fear of going over on my ankle and not in constant pain has been amazing. Owen and the team are true professionals and their attention to detail is exemplary. I had the treatment end of August and I have received regular follow up. Four months on and I am able to walk without constant pain. I have gone from weekly ankle injuries to none. I am able to wear footwear that are not trainers! We were finally able to get a dog because I can walk without fear of falling. If you have a neurovascular corn, you know the pain is intense! Give the team a call.

I had 2 verrucas for over 8 years and tried everything I could get my hands on out of the chemist. I even went and got them surgically removed and the needling treatment. It didn't make a difference, they just kept coming back. That was until I went to Owen and got the SWIFT treatment and it only took 2 treatments to get rid of them!! I honestly couldn't believe it. It was thee best money I've ever spent. I would highly advise anyone who is having trouble with verrucas to see Owen and get the SWIFT treatment cause it is worth every single penny. Absolutely first class!

My son had horrendous verrucae that were impacting his walking and overall wellbeing. We were recommended Swift and Owen has been fantastic. The actual treatment didn't last too long and he was very patient with my son who would be very anxious. I kept Owen updated with pictures and he was very quick to respond with reassurance. I had verrucas on both feet for over 10 years with no success in finding a treatment that worked. Owen introduced me to swift treatment and I am now verruca free. Due to the number of verrucas Owen was always willing to adapt the treatment to suit me and suggested ankle blockers to help with the discomfort. I have been attending Owen over the last couple of years @ Crumlin Podiatry with my in grown toe nails, I can honestly say his professionalism and care has been absolutely first class as well as his staff’s customer service throughout. Always so welcoming and giving check up calls etc.. Owen has always gave me ease and got me fixed. One instance, I was in a lot of pain and phoned Owen, he was just finishing his holidays with his family, he opened the clinic the next morning for me and got me sorted. Not many would have done that, that’s the sort of guy he is, genuine and very approachable all the time. Within the last year Owen had advised I look at the surgery option for my toes as I was just continually butchering myself every month and by doing so my nails were growing the wrong way beneath my skin every month. They were never going to repair themselves. I obviously didn’t think I required any surgery at all and just thought they will come ok again and I’d continue on with normal life, quite the opposite actually! I ended up infecting my toes quite a few times and continually having to go back to Owen! I finally thought what am I doing and eventually made the decision to get the surgery on both toes. It was seriously the best decision ever.. I felt a lot more pain in one of my last appointments with Owen because of the way I had butchered on one of my toes, than I did in getting the injections for the surgery. I am being totally honest here and can say, I literally felt nothing in getting the injections and throughout the surgery. Owen was fantastic throughout and before I knew it, it was over. I actually said is that it! If you want future ease on your toes and be able to walk freely all the time, just go and get that surgery done. It was nothing trust me. Had Swift treatment (microwave) and would highly recommend. Lesions mostly (if not all) gone after one treatment and no scarring. Much better than invasive treatments requiring anaesthetic needles in the foot and/or attending other clinics for long periods of time for ineffective treatments.

'I went to get the new Swift treatment in March for some verrucas I had for many years. I have to say it’s the best thing I did to get rid of them. 'Thank you Owen for a very successful series of treatment to clear the verruca off my foot. I had tried in vain with over the counter treatments and it just took 3 treatments with the new Swift to clear it up completely. Great success and I can highly recommend that people come and get the swift treatment. Here are some pics to show the difference from the first week and then the second treatment a month later and the third treatment another month later. 'Most definitely. I feel like I'm walking on air after my latest appointment. I have a pair of orthotics for a number of years now and I can honestly say they were the best investment ever. I have psoriatic and osteoarthritis and these orthotics have made such a difference to me. Would thoroughly recommend both The Mill and the orthotics.'

Went to Crumlin Podiatry following years of pain in my calf's when I run. Was told I needed orthotics and got measured up there and then. This was only a few weeks prior to me running the Belfast Half Marathon so they rushed my order through to give my body time to adjust to the new orthotics before the race. Perfect job and great fit.
